We invite you to join us for the 21st annual Lake Tahoe Summit. This year we will gather on Tuesday, August 22th at the Tallac historical site in South Lake Tahoe. Registration will begin at 9:00 am and the main program at 10:00 am. Our theme this year will be “2017- A Pivotal Point for the Future of Lake Tahoe.”
Since the first Lake Tahoe Summit in 1997, we have learned a great deal about the threats to the lake and made great strides in protecting and restoring this natural treasure. This year’s summit will be an opportunity to reflect on what we’ve learned, the progress we’ve made, and the challenges that lie ahead.
Due to limited on-site parking, we encourage you to use public transportation or our complimentary shuttle service get to and from the summit. There will also be a bicycle valet service courtesy of the Lake Tahoe Bicycle Coalition. Shuttle locations will be at the South Tahoe High School and the Sno-Park to the north of Valhalla.
Shuttle times for South Lake Tahoe and North Lake Tahoe will be posted prior to the event.
Bike valet will be availble courtesy of Tahoe Bike Coalition. Check out their online map to find a good route.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Senator Feinstein's office at (415) 393-0707.
The event is free and open to the public.
